Hi there, I'm Gabi. I'm a Product and Service-System Designer with a bit of a global twist ~ born in Germany, grew up in Brazil, and now I'm calling Italy home.
I've been working for over a decade now, and I've got to say, I love what I do. My passion is designing services, systems, processes, products, and environments that make a difference. It's not just about making things look good or work smoothly (though that's important too). I'm all about creating things that meet real needs and, if we're lucky, might even change things for the better on a bigger scale.
I'm there for all the pieces of the process - from the first "what if" moment to the final "it's live" celebration. I've worked with startups, solo professionals, and big consultancies, and in all cases, my goal is the same: come up with solutions that are creative, strategic, and work for the people using them.
To me, being a designer is all about embracing challenges. It's about using every tool in the toolbox (and sometimes inventing new ones) to find the best solutions. It keeps me on my toes, always learning, always curious. I love how it lets me dive into all sorts of areas - how society's changing, new business models popping up, all the wild stuff happening in the world.
It's not always easy, but it's always interesting. And at the end of the day, if I've made something that helps people or pushes things in a better direction, even just a little bit? I know that I am doing the right thing.
